Fox News projects Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton win Mississippi Primaries

Fox News projects that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will win their respective party primaries in Mississippi.

The victories could help the two primary front-runners rebound following a rocky weekend where they effectively split the delegate field with their top rivals.

Voters are still going to the polls Tuesday in the Republican and Democratic primaries in Michigan – and in Republican-only contests in Idaho and Hawaii.

On the GOP side in Mississippi, Trump's projected victory leaves Ted Cruz to finish in second place. John Kasich and Marco Rubio are locked in a battle for third, according to Fox News exit polls and early returns.

And on the Democratic side, Fox News projects that Clinton will easily defeat Bernie Sanders in Mississippi’s contest.

Michigan, though, is the biggest prize on the map Tuesday.

Early returns on the GOP side show Trump leading, and Ohio Gov. Kasich following in second position. Early Fox News exit polls there also show late-deciders largely breaking for Kasich and Texas Sen. Cruz.
