Sriracha Ketchup is coming to a grocery store near you

Like it hot? Now chili lovers can get the popular Sriracha hot sauce in Heinz ketchup.

"We are thrilled to announce that Heinz Tomato Ketchup Blended with Sriracha Flavor will join the beloved Heinz Ketchup portfolio," Joseph Giallanella, Heinz brand manager said in a release. "Building off of our successful line of flavored ketchups, fans told us that they would love another bold take on their favorite condiment."

The Pittsburgh-based company, known for its "57 varieties" slogan, already offers unconventional flavors tinged with jalapeno, balsamic vinegar and Tabasco.

"The new offering adds a new kick to your favorite foods and recipes, pairing well with cheeseburgers, French fries and hot dogs, and is the perfect flavor boost for chicken and eggs," Giallenella added.

Sriricha is a tangy chili and garlic sauce that traces its origins to Thailand. Most Americans think of the "rooster sauce" version produced by Los Angeles-based Huy Fong Foods.

The new product will be available in Walmart, Target and other retailers and cost $2.69 for a 14-ounce plastic squeeze bottle.
