Reward offered for info leading to arrest of Copperas Cove pawn shop burglary suspect

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF)  are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of a person responsible for a pawn shop burglary in Copperas Cove.

The burglary happened just after 10 p.m. on September 3rd at the Kwik Cash Pawn located at 401 West Business Highway 190. The suspect stole 26 firearms before leaving.

The suspect is described as follows:

  • Black male
  • Approximately 6' tall
  • 220 pounds
  • mid to late 20's
  • Last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, light colored pants, a black backpack and a light colored cloth or t-shirt covering part of his face.

Officials say the suspect left in a vehicle described as an older black sedan, possible a Honda.
