Woman accused in Dallas dentist's murder added to FBI most wanted list

- The woman accused of murdering a Dallas dentist is now on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list.

Brenda Delgado is the ninth woman ever to be added to the list since its inception in 1950. She’s wanted for capital murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

Delgado allegedly orchestrated a murder-for-hire plot because she was jealous of her ex-boyfriend’s new relationship with Dr. Kendra Hatcher.

"Delgado's addition to the list underscores the violent and calculated nature of the crime she's accused  of committing," said Dallas FBI Special Agent Thomas Class.

Dallas County District Attorney Susan Hawk has taken death penalty off the table so that Mexico will agree to extradition once Delgado is captured.

FBI documents suggest Delgado hired Kristopher Love to shoot and kill Hatcher in the parking garage at her Uptown apartment complex on Sept. 2, 2015.

Love and two other people who were involved in the plot have been arrested. Delgado remains on the run, likely in Mexico.

She’s described as a 33-year-old Hispanic female who is about 5 feet and 5 inches tall. She weighs about 145 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

"The only thing that I want is Delgado back and her to serve justice," said Bonnie Hatcher, the victim's mother, in an FBI podcast. "That is the only thing that I think about."

She has a tattoo of a butterfly on the small of her back and may identify herself as a dental hygiene student.

Anyone who spots her was encouraged to contact the FBI or the nearest American embassy or consulate. Up to a $100,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to her arrest and conviction.
