This is an update to a previous story. The original version is as follows:
A Round Rock woman is still being held in the Williamson County Jail tonight for her alleged involvement in the "suspicious" death of her husband.
32-year-old Nancy Khan was arrested for tampering with evidence at the scene of her husband's death.
Ali Khan's body was discovered at their home on Los Alamos Court in northern Round Rock on Saturday.
Neighbors say they are shocked this happened in their subdivision.
Lyn Burns has lived in the Paloma Lake subdivision for nearly a year. Although it was a small time, she had a feeling of security about the community.
"It's quiet, very quiet," said Burns.
But after learning about the death of 34-year Ali Khan, neighbors say they can never be sure of what goes on behind be closed doors. Police say Khan died of an apparent gunshot wound
" It's shocking to say the least," said Zachary Simms, who lives in the neighborhood.
Simms says he is very surprised to hear about the murder. Another neighbor who wishes to remain anonymous says Khan was very kind and even checked on her after she bought a car from his dealership.
"it's frightening but you never know who your neighbor is really," said Burns.
Khan's employer released a statement saying quote
"We, at Round Rock and Capitol Kia, have suffered a huge loss to our family. Ali Khan was an extraordinary man and faithful employee for 12 1/2 years. His humor and spirit will be greatly missed and impossible to replace. He was an excellent teacher and mentor and we are heartbroken over this tragedy."
"We just don't know what happened, how it happened it's a shame," said Burns.
Nancy Khan is being held on a $1 million bond. She has not been charged with murder
