This year, 7-Eleven is celebrating the 50th birthday of the Slurpee and, once again, they're letting you Bring Your Own (BYO) cup  for Slurpees- but there are some limitations.

First off, if you had dreams of filling up a 5 gallon bucket or a baby pool or a clean trash can, bad news: that's not going to happen. But, if you've got a cup that can fit upright through the 10-inch diameter hole in stores, you're in luck! You can fill it up for just $1.50!

Between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. this Friday and Saturday (March 18 & 19) you can bring in a cup-like container for the discounted frozen drink.

“Last year’s BYOCup Day was a huge hit, and because this year is the big Slurpee Fiftee celebration, we added a second day so more people can get in on the fun,” said Laura Gordon, 7-Eleven vice president of marketing and brand innovation. “We saw just how creative Slurpee fans can get during the first BYOCup Day. They filled drums, kettles, fishbowls, helmets and teapots. I can’t wait to see what they bring this year.”

Cup-like containers do not include kitchen sinks, trash bags, pools, or your hands. Otherwise, as long as it fits inside of the 10-inch diameter hole, you're good! That's just slightly larger than a basketball -- which, if you cut one open, you could technically fill up too.
