Teen carrying weapons arrested at Trump Tower: NYPD

- A 19-year-old college student was arrested inside Trump Tower New York Monday evening after he was found to be carrying a knife, handcuffs, fireworks and a water pistol, said the NYPD.

Alexander Wang of Poughquag in upstate New York was stopped at a security checkpoint at about 6:45 p.m. by Secret Service agents. A bag belonging to the Baruch College student was confiscated.

Wang, who is autistic, was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, according to police.

On Tuesday, he was charged with two counts of criminal possession in the fourth degree and unlawful possession of fireworks, reported the NY Post.

“I always walk with them,” said Wang when asked why he had the items, sources told the NY Post.
