Police hope new surveillance video will help lead them to the man who opened fire near a school bus as children were unloading in Marietta last week.

On November 9, police said two students were attempting to exit the school bus, which was stopped on McIntosh Avenue and McArthur Drive. The bus driver reportedly saw the man firing shots toward a home directly in front of the bus. The driver then grabbed the two children, secured the bus doors and called 911.

Wednesday, American Traffic Solutions, a camera company, uploaded new surveillance video of the incident to YouTube. The cameras on the school bus captured a man firing several rounds just feet from school children making their way home.

Both the company and police praised the bus driver for her quick action.

Investigators said the suspect fired 10-12 bullets toward a residence before fleeing the scene in a blue and white SUV.

No one was injured in the shooting.
