UT's "40 Hours for the Forty Acres" campaign underway

The University of Texas' "40 Hours for Forty Acres" campaign is officially underway. The goal is to raise around $140,000 through online contributions and fundraising campaigns across campus.

It kicked off at 4 a.m. this morning and runs through 8 p.m. tomorrow.

During the 40 hours, alumni, students and supporters are encouraged to donate to any program or initiative that's important to them whether it be a research project, the arts or student activities.

For information on how you can contribute you can go the campaign's website here.
