Woman does donuts at intersection, hits passersby and officers' vehicles

Footage of a woman doing donuts in her car in an intersection in Gastonia, North Carolina, on October 8 has gone viral.

The woman is seen ramming a police car before driving down an embankment causing her car to roll over. The woman is helped from the overturned vehicle before being apprehended by police.

Luckily, local news reports that no one was seriously injured in the incident, although the individual recording this footage can be heard to shout “shoot her before somebody gets killed.”

According to the Gaston Gazette's interview with Gastonia Police Capt. Rodney Aldridge, when a Gastonia officer arrived on scene, the woman stopped.

When the officer asked her for her name, she replied, “Faith, hope and love,” Aldridge said.

Police suspect the woman was having mental problems, and could not say if the woman was impaired at the time of her arrest.

According to reports, the woman will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon on an officer and careless and reckless driving.
