Woman identified in Cedar Park shooting

CEDAR PARK, Texas - Police have identified the woman from yesterdays homicide in Cedar Park as 24-year-old Katie Lanell Eager.

Police are talking with the boyfriend--but have not named any person of interest.

"He's just being interviewed by our investigators as to what he saw when he called 9-1-1 and to get any further details from him that may help us in the investigation," said Assistant Chief Mike Harmon of the Cedar Park Police Department.

Police are not releasing the woman's identity. They are waiting for officers in a different city to notify next of kin.
