Water boy with Down syndrome scores a touchdown for mom

- An act of compassion and teamwork on the field led to a moment of a lifetime for a member of a Michigan high school football team.

Senior Robby Heil has been with the team for four years.

He has Down syndrome and normally serves as the team's water boy.

On Friday, Robby suited up, took the ball and ran for a touchdown.

He scored for his mother, who is battling cancer.

"This team has just been so instrumental in helping me get him to practice while I'm at chemo and it takes a village to raise my son and this village has been really outstanding," his mother Debbie Heil said through tears.

This was all thanks to pre-arranged plans with the opposing team.

The coaches and players say, they'll remember this for a long time.
