Bei Bei and Mei Xang play in snow at Smithsonian National Zoo in DC

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - While many in the District dreaded the arrival of snow Wednesday morning, DC’s favorite pandas celebrated its arrival in the nation’s capital.

The Smithsonian National Zoo released video of Bei Bei and Mei Xang frolicking in the snow after a storm dumped several inches of snow across the region.

The video shows the pandas rolling through the snow and climbing trees as snow continues to fall.
