Wiener dog race draws big crowd in San Diego

- The San Diego County Fair was the location for the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals 2016 where crowds came out to enjoy some dog racing at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Saturday.

The race, which was composed of several trial runs, featured several dogs running out of a gate towards their owners. After the trials runs, the eight finalists ran as fast as they could to determine the champion of the competition.

Owners from all around the country brought their Dachshunds to the competition. The winning dog, Presley, came out on top to the delight of her owner.  In addition to winning the final race Presley also received plenty of treats and even a $500 check.
