Texas State lineman Will Trevillion died on January 6 at the age of 20. He was a Hays High School alum from Buda.
Trevillion reportedly collapsed in his home and was rushed to the hospital but couldn't be revived. His tragic death is causing a roller coaster of emotions for those who knew him, including Texas State Athletic Director Larry Teis.
"It was tough. He's from Buda and his parents, we send our prayers out to them. Will, we're thinking about you and I'm sure this year the kids will rally around you but it's a tough deal," Teis said at a press conference recently.
Texas State offensive line coach Brad Bedell said Trevillion had an infectious personality and a smile that one couldn't forget.
