We are learning more about an Officer-Involved Shooting from this past weekend. Austin Police are calling it a suicide by cop.

On Friday night, officers were called to the Randalls at William Cannon and South Mopac for a report of a man threatening people with knives.

Responding Officer Matthew Paredes says he repeatedly told the suspect 29-year-old Tyler Hunkin to drop the weapons, but Hunkin instead ran at him. Paredes shot him.

This incident makes three officer-involved shootings within three weeks. In two of them, officers were shot.
