SPECIAL REPORT: Sheriff Robert Chody reacts to Netflix ‘Confession Killer’ docu-series

The latest true-crime documentary to hit Netflix is “Confession Killer.” It’s about Henry Lee Lucas, who confessed to hundreds of murders in the mid 1980’s – including Williamson County’s “orange socks” case. Lucas was convicted for the orange socks case but later recanted his confession, along with many other confessions he had made. Fox 7 Austin’s Casey Claiborne sat down with current Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody to get his take on the docu-series and talk about how it’s already helping shed some light on cold cases.
