Texas Secy of State stepping down | FOX 7 Focus

Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson announced she is stepping down on July 17. She has led the state elections office for more than three years following a long career in the State Senate. Her retirement comes as the office faces continued scrutiny over recent overhauls to the state voter rolls and amid a heated legal battle involving the state Republican party over how primary elections are run.
