Places around Austin to celebrate the holidays

Looking for a spot to wear that ugly Christmas sweater or just want to hang out in a festive holiday atmosphere? There's plenty of fun spots do just that in and around Austin.

Here's a look at a few of them:

Miracle on 5th St.

This Christmas themed pop-up is back for a third year at The Eleanor to serve holiday themed drinks in a festive space.

Cocktails are served in holiday glasses and have fun names like the Christmas Carol Barrel, Santarex and Koala-la la la, la la la la.

If you've been before, organizers say there's a lot of new things this year. The bar is open every day through December 29th but there are a few dates when it's closed for private events. Head here for the full calendar and more details.

Mozart's Coffee Roasters

One of Austin's most popular holiday displays has been going on for a decade and continues to dazzle people of all ages.

Mozart's says every year it decorates its deck with more than one million LED lights which are set to holiday tunes.

Admission is free and there is no assigned seating. The show runs every day from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. until January 5, 2020.

Mozart's will close at 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day.

LaLa's Little Nugget

Holiday cheer isn't just for the months of November and December though. Lala's Little Nugget remains festive and spreads Christmas cheer all year round.

The bar was founded in 1972 and is filled with generations of Christmas memorabilia. As it says on its website, it's a "North Pole oasis in Central Texas."

One of the fun things the bar is doing this year for the holidays is giving people a chance to get their picture printed on a drink. FOX 7 Austin's Tierra Neubaum tried it out while she checked the place out for Good Day Austin.

Gibson Street Bar

It's not just Halloween that this Austin bar goes all out for. Gibson Street Bar turns into "Gibson Wonderland" for the entire month of December for a second year in a row.

The elaborate festive decor is enchanced with signature cocktails that include Gam Gam's Holiday Jam, Ho Ho Hot Toddy and Brah Hum Bug.

The Secret Bar at W Austin

Until Christmas Day The Secret Bar at W Austin will be decked out in the theme "A Krampus Carol" which will see the space's decor match fun cocktails and even a hot chocolate bar. 

Officials say you want to be keep an eye out too because Krampus might have a few tricks up his sleeves.
