"Power of the Purse" event to benefit Breast Cancer Resource Center

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Breast Cancer Resource Center is holding their first annual "Power of the Purse" event on Thursday, April 4 at the Palm Door on Sabine from 5-8 p.m.

The fundraiser will feature a silent auction for purses and a raffle for a big travel bag. It will have a wide array of new and gently used designer handbags donated by the event's featured ATX Power Women.
