TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas - The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death after a disturbance in Manor early Sunday, August 31.
What we know:
According to the Travis County Sheriff's Office, at 2:51 a.m., deputies responded to a call to an apartment complex in the 8400 block of E. Parmer Lane. Callers reported people yelling and fighting in the parking lot.
In the minutes before deputies arrived, several of the involved individuals left the area.
When deputies arrived, they found a woman in her 30s lying on the ground in need of medical assistance. She was taken to a local hospital but died from her injuries.

1 dead after fight at apartment complex
An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead following a reported disturbance at a Travis County apartment complex.
Witnesses pointed to possible physical abuse at the hands of one person at the scene, and investigators suggest the woman may have been pushed into a moving vehicle.
Detectives believe all the parties involved knew each other.
The victim’s identity has not been released, nor has a suspect been named, but an autopsy has been scheduled with the Travis County Medical Examiner’s office.
