2 Manor ISD schools going 100% remote due to positive COVID-19 cases
Beginning Tuesday, January 19, all Presidential Meadows and Manor Senior High School School scholars will receive asynchronous instruction.
MANOR, Texas - Two more schools are going 100% virtual because of COVID, this time at Manor ISD. Presidential Meadows Elementary and Manor Senior High School will not be returning in person following the holiday weekend.
The school district put out a notice reporting that staff members at both these schools tested positive for the virus. Because of the number of staff who would need to quarantine, they choose to move to 100% virtual.
Those who were in close contact with the staff who tested positive were told to self-quarantine at this time.

Right now, the school district is working to sanitize both schools while remote learning is taking place.
In the same notice, the school district also put plans in place for when they plan to come back in person, two weeks from now on February 1.
As of last Wednesday which is win the school district updated their website, they state there are 19 positive cases among students in the district along with 33 staff.
