A late-night mass shooting outside a nightclub in a small Louisiana town on Sunday injured seven people, while even more individuals were hurt as they tried to escape the scene.

The Thibodaux Police Department indicated the shooting happened around 10 p.m. near the intersection of East 10th Street and Narrow Street in the southern Louisiana town, about an hour south-west of New Orleans.
