AUSTIN, Texas - A winter storm has started to make it's way through parts of Central Texas creating problems not only for drivers, but for flyers as well.
Passengers are being advised to check their flight status before heading out to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) due to the winter weather and freezing conditions.
ABIA is advising passengers to pack their patience. Carriers have already started canceling some arrivals into Austin's airport .
Furthermore, departing travelers may experience delays before takeoff and arrivals may experience delays before deplaning due to activities and safety pre-cautions.
As winter weather is expected to impact flights to and from Austin's airport, passengers should be prepared for cancellations or delays.
