Amber Alert canceled after missing East Texas brothers found safe

Two missing boys who were allegedly abducted in East Texas have been found safe.

What We Know: Police located 3-year-old Legend Sanford and 4-year-old Kannon O’Neal at a home in Tyler, Texas around 1:30 p.m. on Friday based on a tip.

They are reportedly safe and will be reunited with their family soon.

The Backstory: The brothers disappeared around 10 p.m. on Thursday from an apartment complex on South Park Drive in Tyler.

Legend was wearing Paw Patrol pajamas. Kannon was wearing a black shirt and black sweatpants with blue and red stripes.

An Amber Alert that was issued on Friday morning mentioned a suspect who may be in a gray Mazda hatchback vehicle. 

Police released two photos of the vehicle, saying security cameras captured video of the two boys getting into the vehicle.

What We Don’t Know: So far, police have not released any details about the circumstances surrounding the brothers' disappearance.
