APD investigate downtown bank robbery
AUSTIN,Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department is investigating a bank robbery that occurred downtown Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials the call came in shortly after 4 p.m. for reports of a robbery at the Compass Bank, located in the 300 block of West 6th St.
Police say the suspect entered the bank handed the teller a note demanding money.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money police say.
Police describe the suspect as being a white male in his 20s.
He was wearing a light color hoodie and pants police say.
