APD investigating deadly crash in Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Police Department is investigating a deadly crash.

What we know:

Police said on Monday, Jan. 26, around 8:30 p.m., a crash happened at I-35 southbound service road at E 38th 1/2 St. 

E 38th 1/2 St. is closed in both directions while officers are on scene.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
