Austin police are asking the public for help in finding the person or persons responsible for the New Year's Eve murder of Nicole Coleman.

23-year-old Coleman's body was found in the woods just after 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2018 near the 7000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard.

Officials say that when first responders arrived they found Coleman with obvious trauma. She was pronounced dead shortly after and her death was later ruled a homicide.
