The Austin Police Department is searching a bank robbery suspect, following a robbery on Saturday afternoon at the Austin Telco Credit Union in the 13800 block of N. US Hwy 183.
Police say the suspect passed a note to a teller and demanded money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen heading westbound from the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 6' tall and 150 to 160 lbs. Police say he has a thin build, a short goatee and reddish-brown hair that is possibly a wig. He was last seen wearing a maroon button-up, brown sport coat, brown hat, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
