The Austin-Travis County Emergency Operations Center has activated in response to anticipated severe weather conditions during the next 24 hours.
For the latest information, monitor City of Austin/Travis County social media (@austintexasgov, @AustinHSEM, or @TravisCountyES) or visit austintexas.gov/hsem or traviscountytx.gov.
There are no official evacuations being initiated at this time for the Austin-Travis County area.
Residents are encouraged to monitor weather conditions via the news media, to assess their personal preparedness plans, and to avoid unnecessary travel throughout the next 24 hours.
Flooded low water crossings pose a safety risk. Residents are reminded to respect barricades and to find alternate routes. Turn around — don’t drown.
