Deputies searching for possible discarded gun in Round Rock
ROUND ROCK, Texas - Deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office are searching for a possibly discarded gun.
WCSO shared a tweet on Wednesday alerting the public to a heavy police presence in Round Rock, near the RM 620 and Great Oaks Drive intersection. According to the tweet, deputies are looking for a gun that was possibly discarded following a road rage incident.
There is no danger to the public.
Units cleared the area around 3:10 p.m., but no firearm was located using K9 or drones, says WCSO. The suspect was arrested.
Deputies are asking that if a firearm located in this area to please call 911.
