Ford recalling nearly 230,000 Broncos due to panel display failure

Ford Motor Co. is recalling more than 200,000 Bronco SUVs over an instrument panel failure that could leave drivers without critical safety features.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the panel display may fail to show features like warning lights and vehicle speeds.

No injuries have been reported. 

By the numbers:

The 229,609 Broncos under recall include 128,607 Ford Bronco Sports, and 101,002 Ford Broncos. The recalled models are all 2025-2026.

The recall number is 25V540.

Recall notices will go out starting Dec. 8.

Vehicle owners will have to take the recalled Broncos in to a Ford or Lincoln dealership to get them fixed.
