MARBELLA, Spain - A disturbing and chilling moment in Spain after surveillance video captured an intruder shining a flashlight on a woman as she slept.
The couple, who lives in Marbella, released the footage of the masked burglar who broke into their home last month.

The couple, Alex Varona and his partner Pilar, first noticed money was missing. When they checked CCTV footage, they discovered that a masked man had stood over them as they slept.

The unsettling video showed the intruder returning to their bedroom several times.
The man can be seen shining his flashlight over Pilar’s body.
Local media reported that while the couple currently has no information about the thief, Varona said the police told them such robberies are common. What is unusual, he added, is the intruder’s "sick behavior."
