EEMB USA is recalling a brand of its lithium batteries over a swallowing risk.
The batteries are in pouches that are not child-resistant under federal safety regulations. Consumer Product Safety Commission officials in a recall letter said that if a child swallows button cell or coin batteries, the ingested batteries may cause severe injuries like "internal chemical burns and death."
