'Home Alone' house is ready for your Airbnb stay this holiday season
For one night this Christmas season, a lucky "Home Alone" fan will spend the night in the iconic Chicago-area house that hosted Kevin McCallister‘s holiday staycation.
Kevin McCallister is "home" again for the holidays, reuniting with Old Man Marley’s granddaughter in a nostalgia-packed "Home Alone"-themed ad.
"Home Alone" star Macaulay Culkin reprised his role as McCallister as part of a Home Instead campaign.

Big picture view:
In the ad, McCallister is preparing to defend his home and protect his aging mother from everyday dangers. While setting up his safety plan outside, Old Man Marley’s granddaughter is shoveling the sidewalk.
"Have you tried to talk to her about getting a little help?" she asks.
She continues, "The scariest part is starting that conversation, then at least you'll know and can stop worrying about it. It's not easy. But how you feel about family is a complicated thing."
Other spots from the ad campaign show Kevin ordering pizza and carrying heavy grocery bags – nods to the original movie.

His partner, actress Brenda Song— with whom he shares two children—was in attendance.
Last year, the former child star embarked on a multi-city tour, A Nostalgic Night With Macaulay Culkin, in which he screened the film for an audience before taking part in a Q&A.
