One man is dead after he tried to cross I-35 Sunday morning.
Austin Police say a man was killed as he tried to cross I-35 early Sunday morning. Officers closed the northbound lanes of the highway down while they mapped out the scene.
It happened around 3 a.m. near Cesar Chavez.
Austin Travis County EMS says the man was in his twenties. APD has not released his name and is working to notify his family.
The crash is under investigation.
