Communities and organizations will gather in cities across the Lone Star State on Saturday for a "day of action" focused on nonpartisan voter participation and election protection.
Saturday's "No Kings: Vote Early" events are meant to make sure voters have a "concrete voting plan" and "every legal vote" is counted, according to the organizers of the Denton event. This weekend's events are the latest in a nationwide protest movement opposing the Trump administration's policies that began in 2025.
Early voting in Texas begins on Oct. 19 and runs through Oct. 30.
