Young Bleed’s legacy

The backstory:

Born on June 6, 1974, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as Glenn Reed Clifton Jr., he started rapping at 9 years old.

Alongside four Baton Rouge-based rappers – C-Loc, Max Minelli, J-Von, and J-Von's younger brother Chris Hamilton – he formed the group Concentration Camp in 1995.

Young Bleed's first glimpse of national fame was when his song with C-Loc, "How You Do That", was released in 1997 and remixed by Master P of No Limit Records. The song peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop album charts the following year.

Throughout his career, he released nine studio albums.
