Person killed in two-alarm fire in South Austin

AUSTIN, Texas - A person has died in a two-alarm fire at a South Austin apartment complex Sunday morning.

The Austin Fire Department says their A-shift crews started battling the fire at the complex in the 2200 block of Willow Creek around 6:30 a.m. and spent about 30 minutes putting it out.

Six units sustained the most damage and one person was found dead.

AFD says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
