Police identify, arrest suspect behind Round Rock hospital lockdown
The suspect has been identified as Christopher Dwayne Mims, 32.
ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Pflugerville Police Department has identified and arrested the suspect who prompted a lockdown at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital early this morning. The suspect has been identified as Christopher Dwayne Mims, 32.
Mims was arrested in Austin after the Pflugerville Police Criminal Investigations Division filed an arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon. His bond has been set at $100,000.
According to police, the lockdown was put in place around 1 a.m. Mims was believed to be in the building. Dozens of police were on the scene for several hours, including a SWAT team and officers in tactical gear.
It's not clear at this time if Mims was ever actually inside.
Police also said there were no reports of gunshots at the hospital.

The Pflugerville Police Department says the incident began in Pflugerville.
Police said a shooting took place around 10:45 p.m. on March 16 while Mims was driving northbound on SH 130 through the City of Pflugerville. Mims then drove the female victim to Baylor Scott and White Pflugerville. She was later transferred to Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock for further treatment.

Police look for suspect, Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital lockdown lifted
Round Rock police did a search of the hospital and determined that the suspect was not in the building but the suspect's location is now known at this time. FOX 7 Austin's John Krinjak has the latest details.
The woman is reportedly in stable condition and her injuries are non-life-threatening.
The Pflugerville Police Department is still actively investigating.
