MIAMI - A newly released animated video presents visual renderings of President Donald Trump’s proposed presidential library in downtown Miami, highlighting a towering waterfront skyscraper alongside dedicated museum space.
Trump posted the video on Truth Social early Tuesday, giving the public an initial glimpse of the concept. His son, Eric Trump, also shared it on X with additional details, calling the project a "lasting testament" to his father and his legacy.
What they're saying:
"Over the past six months, I have poured my heart and soul into this project with my incredible team," Eric Trump wrote, adding that the waterfront landmark would stand as a tribute to "an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known."
"These images have never been seen by the public — until today. Enjoy!" he added.
The other side:
The White House did not immediately respond to questions about the plans.
Dig deeper:
Eric Trump has taken a leading role in developing the project and serves as president of the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library Foundation, as well as one of its trustees.
Set to dramatic orchestral music, the video begins with sweeping aerial views of the proposed waterfront site, featuring landscaped grounds with palm-lined walkways, fountains, and green spaces before unveiling the towering glass structure.
The design includes a tall glass tower crowned with a spire, with Trump’s name displayed in gold lettering across the facade and a large American flag draped down the center. On the ground floor, a presidential aircraft resembling Air Force One is showcased alongside gold escalators reminiscent of Trump Tower in New York City.
Additional renderings depict military aircraft displayed within the complex and a large auditorium-style space featuring a towering gold statue of Trump, a stage, and expansive digital displays.
What's next:
The presidential library is planned to be designed by Miami-based architecture and engineering firm Bermello Ajamil and constructed on an approximately 2.6-acre waterfront site.
