The Burnet County Sheriff's Office says Lacy Pearson Jr, who was wanted by the United States Marshall's Office, was taken into custody and is now in the Burnet County Jail.
Sheriff's Office deputies initiated a stop in the 600 block of Buchanan Drive shortly before 6 p.m. on April 23. That's when a deputy noticed one of the people in the car was a subject wanted by the United States Marshall's Office.
30-year-old Pearson is being held on an active warrant for a probation violation.
Pearson was the subject for of a search from numerous agencies on April 20 in the Bertram, Texas area. Officers had spotted Pearson and when they approached he fled on foot into a wooded area. Multiple agencies spent hours searching for Pearson but were unable to take him into custody on that day.
