Victim in fatal stabbing identified

The Austin Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing in downtown Austin. 

APD has identified the victim as 51-year-old Glen Raymond Burford, 

According to ATCEMS, they were called out to a bus stop on the corner of E 7th Street and Comal Street on Friday night where they found Burford. First responders administered CPR to him. He was then transported to UMC Brackenridge Hospital with critical life threatening injuries. He was later pronounced dead.

A medical examiner ruled the death a homicide. No suspect has been arrested. 

APD is asking anyone with information to call the homicide tip line.
