BUDA, Texas - A woman has died in an early morning house fire in Buda.
Officials say the Buda Fire Department responded to a home in the 400 block of Overlook Mountain West at around 6:20 a.m. and arrived to find the home fully engulfed.
Flames and smoke were reportedly visible from all sides of the home and the roof.

Buda Fire Chief Clay Huckaby says that firefighters searched the home and crews found an unresponsive woman. She was taken to the hospital where she died.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
No details about the victim have been released.
