Gristmill River Restaurant offers 'true Texas experience'

This Gruene restaurant opened in 1977 with a tiny kitchen in the broiler room of an old cotton gin. Today it offers upscale casual dining with Texas staples like steak, hamburgers, chicken fried steak and more.
