Former Austin City Council Member Ellen Troxclair writes new book ‘Step Up!’

Ellen Troxclair spent four years on Austin’s first 10-1 Austin City Council. For the last couple of years she was the lone conservative on the historically Democratic Council…fighting for low property taxes, accountable government and making sure kids can have a lemonade stand without getting a permit. She’s written a new book called “Step Up! How to advocate like a woman.” Troxclair joined Good Day Austin’s Casey Claiborne on Saturday to talk about the book.
