Kerrville Flash Flood Emergency: Guadalupe River Rising
Heavy rain lashed Kerrville, Texas, on the morning of Thursday, July 16, as the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a flash flood emergency for the area. The NWS said that “catastrophic flooding” was occurring in parts of Kerr County, including Kerrville, Hunt, and Ingram. “Move to higher ground now! Guadalupe River is rapidly rising and will continue!” the NWS said. This footage captured by Meghan Welton shows heavy rainfall in Kerrville early on Thursday morning.
