Heart Hospital of Austin is offering free screenings for athletes

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a serious heart condition that affects 1 in 500 student athletes every year, often without any warning. That’s why St. David's HealthCare offers free heart screenings for athletes ages 14-18. Each screening is reviewed by a cardiologist and is provided at no cost (over $700 value).
