Official Drink of Austin competition

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - People know Austinites love a good cocktail and coming up in a few weeks at the Fairmont, they will have the opportunity to crown the Official Drink of Austin.

The event, hosted by the Austin Food and Wine Alliance, encourages local mixologists to get creative with their cocktails and design a drink that celebrates and is inspired by Austin.

The event also raises funds for culinary grants.
