The Kindness Campaign raises awareness for mental health

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - May is Mental Health Awareness Month and the Kindness Campaign is working to get people to connect and learn more about mental health issues.

Founded by Andra Liemandt after a daughter of a friend committed suicide due to bullying, the Kindness Campaign is now in over 80 schools, serving elementary, middle and high school students, with plans to offer services to corporations over the next several years.

The organization works to normalize the conversation about mental health and emotional awareness and address the issues of bullying and isolation.
